Centerra is seeking an Armed Security Guard to work at our Contract in Radford, Virginia. The Armed Security Guard will be responsible for providing physical security at Radford Army Ammunition Plant (BRF) in Radford, VA.

Control ingress/egress into and/or out of posted/controlled/security areas.

Enforce all applicable rules and regulations

Respond to protective alarm signals or other unusual/suspicious activities.

Maintain a working knowledge of all security and guard orders, written and oral, pertaining to the assigned duties.

Perform other duties as assigned.


*GED or High School Diploma
*Must be at least 21 years old and able to carry a weapon
*Must be United States Citizen
*Applicants must run 1.5 miles in 17 minutes 30 seconds or less and execute 19 pushups in under 2 minutes, annually.
*Must be able to work any shift on both weekends & holidays and overtime on short notice, as needed.
*Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance and all certifications, qualifications, and licenses required for the position, which include, but are not limited to: valid drivers license, Individual Reliability Program certification, physical agility standards and weapons qualifications.
*Background investigation, including prior employment, personal references, criminal justice screening, credit history, etc.
*Drug screening and medical evaluation
*Ability to meet all other contractual requirements
