Centerra is seeking a Project Manager to work at our client in the Columbus, GA area.

The Project Manager will plan, execute and finalize projects according to established deadlines and budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of the team members in order to deliver projects according to the contract. The Project Manager will also define the project objectives and oversee quality control throughout. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: • Define, understand and execute project scope, goals and deliverables that support contract goals in collaboration with the client, tenant and supporting commands to ensure successful execution of the contract • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members in a timely manner • Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis • Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools and delegating as necessary • Direct and coordinate the functions of the Emergency Responders and Dispatch staff including responding to all emergency situations • Check attendance to ensure that each post is staffed as required by the Guard Post Assignment Record • Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results and correct problem areas • Design and implement a safety and health plan • Create recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements • Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management • Quality Assurance and Quality Control • Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals • When required, coordinate with annex managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the site • Determine and assess need for additional or reduction in staff as appropriate during the project cycle • Direct and manage project development • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations.


Qualified applicants must be 21 years of age or older and have a valid driver's license. All applicants must be eligible to meet our customer’s driving and other performance standards. Preferred current certification as Firefighter II (State of Georgia) Pro-board and/or IFSAC. Prefer operation and technician level certifications in the above disciplines’. • Must have a clean criminal record. • Ability to successfully pass a drug screen/background check. • Prior military, law enforcement or experienced ERO personnel preferred.

The Project Manager must have at least five years of experience at a comparable level of responsibility in projects of similar size and complexity. Education: Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration/Management, based on a four-year course of study from an accredited college or university or equivalent institution or the equivalent in education and experience. • Must be a US Citizen.
