Assigned to an Advanced Life Support (ALS) Ambulance. Responds to, but not limited to the following: fire incidents, emergency medical incidents, fire alarms, hazardous materials, rescue operations including various types of rescue incidents such as high angle, confined space, trench, vehicle extrication, and building collapse.
Must Follow Florida State Statute 64J-1.04, Space Coast Regional Medical Protocols and Centerra FEMS III SOPs/SOGs associated with Emergency Medical Services. Must have the ability to; assess, package, treat and transport individuals under their care consistent with the above. Must be able to communicate effectively with the spoken word during routine and emergency operations.
Shall maintain certifications in accordance with the Department of Defense, the United States Air Force, the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Florida State Statues, the FEMS III Contract requirements and the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between Centerra Group and the Transport Workers Union of America Local 525.
