Centerra is seeking a Payroll Specialist to work at our headquarters located in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

Responsibilities

Compiles payroll data such as hours worked, taxes, insurance and employee identification from time sheets and other records.
• Calculates timecards.
• Reviews submitted timecards/timesheets for completeness and accuracy.
• Follows up on time sheet and time card compliance.
• Verifies changes (exemptions/deductions/pay changes/department changes) entered by HR.
• Enters time/labor into Costpoint system.
• Prepares and distributes employee timecards/timesheets.
• Sets up new hire files.
• Assists employees with payroll inquiries.
• Sorts and distributes payroll checks.
• Maintains confidentiality of all personnel data and matters
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s preferred.
• Three years of office experience with at least one year of payroll experience required.
• Must be detail-oriented and have strong MS Office and data entry skills.
• Deltek Costpoint, ADP and Deltek Time Collection experience preferred.
• Effective oral and written communication skills with all levels of the organization.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion.
• Problem solving skills with an analytical thought process.
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
